About Me

I am originally from Shoreham in West Sussex but I spent most of my childhood in France living in La Couture Boussey, Paris and Lille before moving to Aberdeen in Scotland where I spent much of my early adult life. I then moved to Edinburgh to study for my MA (Hons) in Psychology and Business Studies and my PhD both at the University of Edinburgh.

I completed a 4 year PostDoc at the University of Birmingham's HCI Centre and now hold the post of Lecturer at University College Dublin's School of Information & Communication Studies.

In my spare time I enjoy playing squash and football. When I get the time I also play guitar and have been known to play Blues lead guitar in a number of bands around Scotland.

I have a passion for all things French and Scottish, holding a keen love of french cooking and single malt whisky.
